Hermès
The free Discord bot for freelancers, from order to client review.
Hermès takes orders on a Discord server, opens a private space for each client, keeps them posted on progress and collects their review on delivery. It also verifies new members, moderates the server and is configured from a web panel.

The problem
Many freelancers (designers, developers, video editors) work with their clients on Discord. Orders arrive in direct messages, information gets lost, and you have to chase everyone to know where their project stands. Hermès gives this work a clear flow, right inside the server.
The life of an order
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Pending | The client fills in a five-question form that you configure. |
| Quote | A private channel opens to refine the project together. |
| Client space | The order is confirmed: a progress card is pinned in the channel. |
| Progress | You update the card and the client is notified. |
| Delivery and review | The client rates from 1 to 5 and comments; the review is posted in its channel. |
Each step has its own channel category, so one glance at the list shows where every project stands. When a ticket is closed, the transcript goes to the server’s log channel and the ticket is deleted from the database.
The rest of the server
- Verification of new members by direct message with a captcha, and an “Unverified” role until they answer.
- Automoderation: offending messages are deleted, then the chosen sanction applies.
- Welcome with an image generated when each member joins.
- Social feeds: Hermès announces new posts from your accounts.
- Mini-games to liven up the server.
Onboarding sets everything up in two minutes: language, colour, team and modules, then Hermès creates the roles, categories and channels it needs by itself.
The web panel
The site hosts a panel you log into with your Discord account. Each module is configured there, section by section, without typing a command. The panel knows neither the bot’s token nor the database: it goes through the bot’s internal API, protected by a token, and the bot checks live that the user has the “Manage Server” permission before any read or write.
Technical choices
Two independent applications: the bot, written with discord.js 14 and Discord’s Components V2, backed by MySQL; and the site, in Next.js 16 and TypeScript, hosted on Cloudflare. Hermès keeps the bare minimum: the server’s configuration, the step of open tickets, warnings and followed feeds. Never the content of forms, reviews, messages or images. When the bot leaves a server, all its data is deleted.
Hermès is free, with no paid tier and no ads.
